Business Development Representative

We are seeking a passionate, highly motivated BDR looking for a very rewarding, early career sales position.  This would be an ideal opportunity for a recent college grad looking to break into the fast growing IT sales field.  The opportunity will be part of a newly created Sales team in our trendy mid-town Atlanta office.   You enjoy a fast-paced, start-up environment working with like-minded sales professionals and leaders who like to push themselves to achieve greatness.  The BDR will be initiating outbound phone communication, driving appointments and building relationships within the IT suite of our potential clients. You will be equipped with cutting-edge prospecting tools and will work with multiple data sources including social media to identify potential opportunities.


 You will conduct outreach to qualify a prospect’s network, cloud and other technology needs.  Collaborating with internal engineering resources and senior managers who will help you close deals is essential. The BDR will be also be responsible for prospecting, uncovering and upselling existing customers to increase their current spend. • Meeting or exceeding quota each month

• Create and execute a multi-faceted prospecting plan through calling, email, leveraging personal networks and following up on marketing generated leads.

• Input and manage all sales opportunities through SalesForce.com

• Participate in weekly sales meetings, which will include sales pipeline forecasting and management to ensure consistent performance each month.

• Professionally represent the company to existing clients and provide excellent customer service.




• Some technical knowledge, including basic comprehension of corporate computing environments and aptitude for learning new technology is required. Additional training will be provided.

• Ability to communicate the company's' value proposition.

• Strong sales and prospecting skills – including a confident, but conversational phone presence

• • Proven ability to learn quickly, understand competitive threats and exercise exceptional judgment.

• Advanced computer literacy (Microsoft tools a must, including Outlook, PowerPoint and Office)

• Strong time management/organization skills

• Self-motivation and high energy with an ability to adapt to a changing environment

• Ability to understand a client's business issues • Strong ability to solve business issues and work independently as well as within a team




QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications):


• Bachelor's Degree preferred (BA/BS) or equivalent sales experience with track record of success.

• Prior inside direct sales experience a plus but not required
